Paragon Capital Management was pleased to conclude the PCM–NTU Singapore Asset Management Case Competition 2026 with the Grand Final and Award Ceremony held on 1 October 2026.
The competition was created to provide students with an opportunity to experience the investment decision-making process beyond the classroom. Participants were challenged to analyse investment opportunities, formulate portfolio recommendations, and defend their views before a panel of industry veterans, mirroring the rigour and accountability required in the industry.
Equally important was the opportunity for students to interact with industry veterans during the networking session. These conversations allowed participants to gain first-hand perspectives on careers in portfolio management, discuss current market developments, and better understand the skills required to succeed in the profession.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Professor Nick Orlic for serving as a judge at the Grand Final and for his continued support of the competition. His thoughtful feedback, industry insights, and engagement with participants contributed significantly to the learning experience and helped make the event a meaningful one for all involved.
Paragon Capital Management would also like to thank NTU-IIC and all participating students for their contributions. Through initiatives such as this competition, we hope to foster greater interest in portfolio management, bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice, and support the development of the next generation of finance professionals.
